Incoming President Rodrigo Duterte has a gift in mind for Rep. Leni Robredo, who is leading both unofficial and official partial tallies in the vice-presidential elections.

Asked by a journalist what he plans to give Robredo, Duterte answered. "Ano bang magandang singsing?"

A journalist replied, "Diamond!'

"Siya ang nagsabi, hindi ako, "Duterte said, drawing laughter, during his more than 2-hour-long press conference which started before midnight on Wednesday.
